Bohaterem filmu jest pochodzący z bogatej rodziny, lecz nieustannie poniżany i dręczony przez rówieśników Billy Duncan. Jedyną przyjazną mu osobą jest jego dziewczyna Kathy. Billy i Kathy podczas jednego ze spacerów po pustyni natrafiają na dziwną broń, która z pewnością nie została stworzona przez ludzi. Billy nie bacząc na ostrzeżenia Kathy zabiera broń ze sobą. I od tego momentu zaczyna się zachowywać dziwnie. Nieustanna chęć zemsty chłopca na swoich prześladowcach może mieć tragiczne skutki.
