Piętnaście lat temu, Luiza (Medeea Marinescu) zdecydowała się na nowe życie w Hiszpanii. Wyjechała, zostawiając trzyletnią córkę Cristinę pod opieką krewnych. Po powrocie do Rumunii kobieta odkrywa szokującą prawdę: Cristina (Adela Popescu) uciekła z domu, jest narkomanką i ma dwuletnią córeczkę mieszkającą w sierocińcu. Przepełniona poczuciem winy, Luiza pragnie ratować swoją córkę i naprawić błędy młodości. Ma na to tylko jeden weekend.
